Crossing Jordan — Season 5

Slocum is in charge, but Jordan asks Macy's help when a former adversary kills again.

Josh Duhamel and Vanessa Marcil guest star on a crossover episode with Las Vegas that begins with the suicide of a Montecito Casino showgirl in the Boston morgue. Meanwhile, Macy helps make a biker's dying wish come true.

A report that the body of one of three missing boys has been found at the bottom of a well brings Jordan to the crime scene, where she's soon trapped in an abandoned mine with the other two boys, one of whom is badly wounded.

Jordan checks into an ex-con's death and uncovers appalling prison health care, while Woody pursues a parolee who has killed a judge's wife.

A reporter asks Jordan if a death was suicide or homicide, and when she answers the deceased's cell phone, it's Woody calling from a crime scene.

After a long-missing teacher's remains are found, a young man---who would have been 10 at the time---confesses to the murder; a couple who frequently had violent arguments are found dead.

Jordan and Woody seek help from a jailed serial killer whose techniques are being emulated by a copycat killer, but the woman's psychological games prove to be unnerving.

Jordan and Woody investigate a double homicide in which one of the victims is a police officer, and Jordan worries that Woody is taking the case too personally, especially after planted evidence is discovered.

A past trial in which Jordan's testimony set an alleged killer free comes back to haunt her when she investigates the case of a missing woman who was related to the accused.

While investigating a murder at an old bed-and-breakfast, Woody and Jordan become trapped by a snowstorm and soon discover the sinister past of the seemingly haunted inn.

After Macy is arrested for DUI, his judgment is called into question when he acts as a witness in a murder trial. Meanwhile, Jordan and Woody ponder what to do about their relationship after spending the night together.

Woody and Jordan investigate the murder of a military man who had just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. Meanwhile, Macy has an argument with his daughter after she brings a boyfriend home; and Nigel uncovers new evidence in a decades-old kidnapping case.

While investigating a drug-related multiple homicide, Jordan and the team discover evidence that places Macy's missing daughter, Abby, at the scene. They also learn that one of the victims is Abby's wayward boyfriend.

Macy, Jordan, Woody and the rest of the crew are rocked by emotional and physical trauma when a commuter train carrying schoolchildren and their pregnant teacher is destroyed in a terrorist attack.

When six firemen die in a brush fire, Jordan and the team discover that foul play in the chain of command may have contributed to their deaths. Meanwhile, Bug's snazzy new car is demolished by a falling body; Macy and Maggie try to help Abby stay in rehab; and Woody and Lu's budding romance heats up.

A case literally hits home for Jordan when one of her upstairs neighbors is murdered and his young daughter becomes the target of an assassin. Meanwhile, Macy struggles to deal with a prominent family whose son was in a drunken-driving accident with an unfamiliar woman.

Woody and Lu look for a young girl's killer, who may be a schizophrenic living in a neighborhood halfway house. Meanwhile, Jordan grows close to Kayla, who's staying with her while the state looks for a suitable home for the orphaned teen.

When a pro baseball player is accused of rape, the team investigates his alibi, leading to an unexpected revelation. Meanwhile, Jordan's growing jealousy of Woody and Lu's relationship reaches new heights; and Nigel is determined to find the family of a fighter pilot whose frozen body was discovered.

Woody and Jordan investigate the death of a woman who was supposedly a miracle worker, and they soon discover even more mysteries about her life. In another case, a man dies while trying to burglarize an apartment.

While trying to return some personal items to a deceased man's family, Macy is beaten and taken hostage by the deranged homeowner, who is also holding a boy captive. Meanwhile, Jordan refuses to believe that a kindly old janitor could be a suspect in a jewelry scam.

Jordan is accused of murdering J.D. after she wakes up next to his bloody body. With no recollection of the previous night's events, Jordan enlists the help of her friends to piece together what happened---and clear her name.
