When an empire attacks the Mongols, Chinggis Khan incites a campaign that solidifies dominance in Persian lands. He names Ogedei as his successor.

Ogedei is proclaimed ruler of the Mongol Empire. He conquers Armenia, Georgia, and the Jin Empire and builds the grand capital of Karakorum.

The Mongolian Empire took the lands of Russia and Europe, but Ogedei's death triggered a struggle for succession over the largest empire in the world.
