Tempting Fortune — Season 3

Rob Beckett hosts the adventure game show in which 12 strangers begin a gruelling 13-day trek through the Malaysian jungle with the aim of winning a share of £300,000 - if they can avoid the tempting luxuries thrown in their way. The first of these, upgraded clothing and camping essentials, immediately tests the group's priorities, and later, a decision looks set to spark an early divide between the two groups. Other temptations include a taxi ride to camp, a steak bake and a taste of home.

The two groups of Fortune Seekers are reunited after two days apart, as each finally discovers what the other has been spending in secret, and tensions rise when trust is put to the test. 

As the temptations get harder to resist, a divide forms among the group - especially when some of them splash out on a luxury spa break. Nico is elected as the new leader - but his first decision causes controversy.

After battling across the mudflats, the exhausted fortune seekers are offered the ultimate escape - a cruise complete with cocktails, dinner and a night under the stars. But paradise comes with a hefty price tag. Meanwhile, roofer Kieran is elected the new leader and his first test is unlike any before. 

The aftermath of the golden credit card sends the camp into turmoil. With those who took money from the ATM separated from the rest of the group, speculation fuels anger. Rob Beckett opens the world's most expensive discount store and revenge is on the menu when a famous fish-and-chips restaurant appears in the jungle, serving up a taste of the British seaside at a high price.

Tempers are still frayed following the golden credit card when Rob Beckett splits the players into two groups, letting the fractured campers choose who they want by their side. After separate jungle treks, both groups are whisked by speedboat to a private island, where they are offered a spectacular party. But there's a catch - only one group can have it.

The revellers return to camp and reveal the staggering cost of their night of luxury, leaving the other contestants reeling. The prize pot then suffers another blow when one contestant calls time on the adventure, while the group members are offered the chance to speak to loved ones back home. But as usual, it comes at a price.

As the finish line nears, six contestants are offered an irresistible ultimatum that could see them fly home before getting their share of the prize pot. Then comes the most extravagant temptation yet - the chance to stay at an opulent mansion, complete with fine dining and every comfort they've been denied since the trek began. Finally, they make it to the end of the trek - where one last temptation awaits. Only then do they find out how much their journey has really cost.
