Out-of-work actress Toni has not had a night out in years and things are getting desperate, so she secretly skips daughter Grace's drama club rehearsal for a sneaky pub visit. Meanwhile, Rana has a date with the Hull City player she met last night, and Paula is tearing her hair out about her daughter's new boyfriend.

Toni is on a mission to rekindle a bit of bedroom time with Craig - but daughter Grace keeps getting in the way. Rana's ex-boyfriend is back in town and keen to get her alone. Could he really be about to propose? Paula makes a breakthrough with disciplining her kids - but with great power comes great responsibility.

Toni accidentally takes home Grace's classmate's Gucci coat from pre-school - and instantly manages to stain it. Rather than own up to it, she tries to find someone willing to clean a designer coat - not easy in Hull - while also trying to get to a career-defining audition. Meanwhile, stressed-out Paula collapses and is rushed to hospital, but when she gets bumped up to a private ward she discovers there could be advantages of getting sick... Meanwhile, Rana takes her new man's 11-year-old out shopping to impress him, but it isn't the bonding experience she expected.

Grace's flamingo-themed 5th birthday party is going smoothly - until she comes down with a case of flamingo-phobia. Can Toni turn things around with the 'help' of hungover Rana, the puking princess?!

Toni offers to run a baked goods stall at the school fair. Only problem is, she can't bake. At all. Paula discovers a saucy hidden talent, and Rana's competitive side comes out against Ashley.

Native Hullians Toni, Rana and Paula deal with a fresh batch of chaos, from pregnancy and menopause to DIY - via strippergrams and buttock-cupping as this hit sitcom returns. In denial over her pregnancy, Toni continues to distract herself by obsessing over some serious gossip about Gloria, Craig's mother. She has a new boyfriend, who Toni is convinced is a love fraud and true crime villain. Paula, meanwhile, burys her head in the sand over her daughter Ashley's miscarriage, deciding to DIY every inch of her house rather than confront her feelings.

After Craig's shock proposal, Toni flees the scene, leaving him without an answer. Much to Paula's annoyance, Toni shows up at the DIY shop where she works, causing chaos for her and her long-time colleague Brian. After Rana is mistaken for a strippergram during a death call, she has to deal with an onslaught of sexist 'banter' from fellow officer Chris. Luckily, she knows just how to deal with it - by ringing her mother.
