A Very British Road Trip with John Thompson and Simon Day — Season 1

The comedians join shanty singers, take part in Cornish wrestling, and have plenty of antics at sea.

John and Simon are off to Carmarthenshire, Wales, where they shear sheep, make Welsh cakes and join a bunch of pagans.

The guys visit Sussex - home of mod and rocker fisticuffs, a ghostly haunted hotel, a medieval festival and a chilli-eating challenge.

The land of Shakespeare is no haven from the antics of the duo as they forage for food in the woods and join a Shamanic ceremony.

The pair end up searching for poisonous snakes and meeting a man with the biggest collection of latex dolls in the world.

The comedians are challenged to eat the biggest breakfast in the world, stuff roadkill and have a Western-style gun fight.

As the trip continues there are more surprises in store, as our comic heroes end up milking goats, performing magic and playing darts.
