Episodes
Series Two saw strong friendships develop in the specially built nursery at Lark Hill village near Nottingham - such as Ken and Lily 'Bobtail', Beryl and Scarlett, and Pauleen and Ismail; with both groups making significant improvements during the 12 week experiment. As the children delight in being back with their older friends, can the nursery classmates persuade every resident living at Lark Hill to give one item of food for the local foodbank? Will tap-dancing Lilian be well enough to perform after a recent fall? And what will Victor make of the surprise appearance of fellow crooner Alfie Boe.
Will the friendship between four-year-old Scarlett and 84-year-old Beryl blossom and grow? Also featuring Sylvia, who is 102 and was born during World War One, and Victor, who is 97.
This time the three-year-olds and the 102-year-olds visit a maze for a memory test. Will 81-year-old Lavinia ever find her way out? And a new friendship blossoms over a plate of chips.
The group face a series of challenges with a tram journey and a trip to the supermarket - will everyone return from the shops in tact? And do chickens have belly buttons?
A fierce rivalry breaks out between 102-year-old Sylvia and 87-year-old Ken as they face-off on opposing teams during sports day.
It's the end of the experiment. As the kids graduate to big school, it's time for a jive, a waltz, and for the older group to see if their memory, mobility and mood has improved.
